Northern Vietnam travel itinerary 6 days 5 nights 

Tour Hanoi – Cao Bang – Ninh Binh 

Day 1: Noi Bai Airport – Hanoi 1 Day Tour 

You land at Noi Bai airport, car picks you up to Hanoi Old Quarter, check in and freely explore Hanoi (if it is not check-in time, you leave your luggage at the hotel).

Day 2: Cao Bang – Bac Kan tour 

Morning: Depart for Cao Bang to experience winding mountain passes such as Giang Pass, Gio Pass, Khau Khang Pass, Tai Ho Sin Pass and Cao Bac Pass. (There are rest stops along the way)

Noon: Rest, have lunch 

Afternoon: Visit Pac Bo tourist area - a revolutionary base during the resistance war 1941-1945. Tour guide will guide and explain to you. 

• Visit Pac Bo Memorial House
• Take souvenir photos at Lenin stream - Karl Marx mountain and milestone 0 of Ho Chi Minh road . 
• Visit Coc Bo cave , where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked. 

Evening: The group gets on the bus to return to Cao Bang city, have dinner at home. Then return to the hotel to rest. 

Day 3: Continue traveling to Cao Bang - Trung Khanh - Ba Be 

Morning: Check out, get on the bus to Chongqing, you can admire the gentle and charming beauty of Ma Phuc Pass. 

Visit Nguom Nga Cave , a natural cave with many stalagmites and stalactites of various shapes. 

Admire the 3-tiered Ban Gioc waterfall with beautiful white foam. 

Noon: Lunch. The group departs for Ba Be, Bac Kan. 

On the way, visit Phuc Sen knife forging village , an old and famous traditional craft village. 

Arrive at Ba Be, check in and rest. 

Evening: Dinner at restaurant, free time to explore. 

Day 4: Ba Be Lake – Hanoi 

Morning: Wake up, enjoy breakfast and enjoy the view of Ba Be Lake in the early morning mist. 

The group boards a boat to go downstream, exploring the poetic beauty of Ba Be Lake. On the journey, you have the opportunity to learn about the life of the Tay people with unique, rustic but attractive cultural features. The excursion continues with famous attractions:

• An Ma Temple: The sacred temple associated with the loyalty of the Mac generals in the Le - Mac war. Initially, this place was called the Mac family shrine, later changed to An Ma shrine.
• Ao Tien: A lake of more than 3,000m2, surrounded by limestone mountains and primeval forests. Coming here, visitors can admire the mysterious footprints on the rocks and listen to the mysterious legends of this land.
• Ba Goa Island: A small island in the middle of the lake, associated with the formation of Ba Be Lake, creating an interesting highlight in the natural picture at any latitude.

Noon: The group returns to the restaurant and enjoys lunch with local specialties.

Afternoon: Get on the bus back to Hanoi. On the way, the group stops to rest and buy highland specialties as gifts for family and friends. The group returns to Hanoi, ending the 3-day, 2-night Cao Bang - Bac Kan journey with Imazing Travel.

Day 5: Explore Ninh Binh, the land of beautiful mountains and rivers

07:00: Car and tour guide pick you up at the meeting point, depart for Ninh Binh tour. On the way, the group stops to rest.

09:30: Arrive in Ninh Binh, you will visit Trang An Eco-tourism Area, a natural and cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO. Get on a boat, cruise on the clear blue water, through mysterious caves such as Dia Linh Cave, Dark Cave, Bright Cave... enjoy the majestic beauty of the mountains and rivers.

12:00: Have lunch at the restaurant with local specialties such as mountain goat, burnt rice...

14:00: The group continues to visit Hang Mua, one of the most beautiful check-in locations in Ninh Binh. You conquer nearly 500 stone steps to the top of the mountain, admiring the beautiful panoramic view of Tam Coc from above.

16:30: The car takes the group back to the hotel to check in and rest.

18:30: You enjoy dinner at the restaurant and freely explore Ninh Binh at night

Day 6: Tuyet Tinh Coc - Bai Dinh Pagoda - Hanoi

07:00: Have breakfast at the hotel, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the ancient capital.

08:00: The car takes the group to visit Tuyet Tinh Coc, a place known as "fairyland" with a jade-green lake, limestone mountains creating a quiet, poetic scene.

10:00: Continue the journey to Bai Dinh Pagoda, the largest pagoda in Southeast Asia with many impressive records such as the largest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam, the longest La Han corridor in Asia. You can worship, pray for peace and explore the unique architecture of the pagoda.

12:00: Have lunch at the restaurant.

14:00: Car takes the group back to Hanoi, on the way stop to buy specialties as gifts.

17:00 – 18:00: Arrive in Hanoi, ending the 2-day 1-night Ninh Binh trip full of experiences. See you again in the next journeys!
